Vodafone is rearranging the rates for its regular customers. From November 15, new customers will have to pay 5 euros more per month for cable rates up to 500 Mbit/s and in return, in some cases, the maximum upload speeds included in these rates will be significantly increased.
The two smallest rates GigaZuhause 50 Cable and GigaZuhause 100 Cable make the biggest jump in upload performance, with 25 Mbit/s and 50 Mbit/s respectively, uploads that are five times faster than before are possible in the future. In the rate levels GigaZuhause 250 Cable and GigaZuhause 500 Cable, the maximum upload speed is doubled to 50 Mbit/s. Only the upload speed for the large GigaZuhause 1000 cable remains unchanged at 50 Mbit/s.

Change for existing customers optional
Vodafone is conducting a customer survey showing that faster upload speeds are an important criterion for 85 percent of all regular customers, as one of the decisive factors for the switch. As part of the switchover, Vodafone is also eliminating the previous commission fees for new customers and equipping all cable fiber tariffs with the all-network flat rate previously available for a fee of EUR 9.99 per month in all German fixed and mobile networks at no additional cost. . In addition, all regular customers of the provider receive a starting credit of 175 euros.
Vodafone will again accompany the tariff change with an advertising campaign, in which all newly concluded GigaZuhause tariffs – both for cable and DSL – will be offered for the first half of the year at a special price of EUR 19.99. Promotional price of EUR 9.99.
