BetterTouchTool controls the Stage Manager of macOS Ventura › jojo Reviews

Opinions differ about Apple’s Stage Manager. The new feature introduced with macOS Ventura is the subject of controversial discussion, especially on the Mac, and it seems that Apple needs to do a little more to convince the majority of its Mac customers of the benefits of Stage Manager.

In any case, the developer of the Mac application BetterTouchTool is not deterred by this and has integrated Stage Manager support directly into its software. In the current version 3,935, BetterTouchTool comes with a number of actions that can be used to control selected Stage Manager functions with the keyboard or other triggers.

BetterTouchTool wants to control the Mac as comprehensively and versatile as possible via the keyboard and other input devices such as a mouse, trackpad, touchbar or the Siri Remote. For this, the application offers detailed setting and configuration options for the individual devices.

BetterTouchTool can be downloaded for free from the developer and tested for 45 days. If you like it, you can choose between the standard license with two years of update support for $10 or the lifetime license for $22. Alternatively, BetterTouchTool is included in the set app with flat-rate software at no extra cost.
