Apple improves again ›jojo Reviews

Apple needs to improve macOS Ventura again. If you are already testing the beta version of the new operating system, you can load a revised version of the so-called “Release Candidate” via the system extensions.

The release candidate, or RC version for short, refers to the version of the software that marks the end of the testing phase and at the same time represents the version that will then also receive the final release – provided there are no inconsistencies and, for example, urgent bug fixes are added. This is currently the case with macOS Ventura, but Apple doesn’t say what specifically was revised or changed.

The final release of the final version of macOS 13.0 Ventura, which is now available with build number 22A380, is scheduled for October 24. You can assume that Apple will make the new software available for download in the early evening hours as usual on Monday.

Apple Update Tag am Montag

In addition to macOS Ventura, the release of iOS 16.1 and especially iPadOS 16.1 is scheduled for Monday. Here, Apple skipped the system version 16.0 because, according to the official statement, it took more time to fine-tune the system and the new features. Nothing can be delayed anymore, because Apple’s new iPad models will go on sale as early as Wednesday, October 26, which will then necessarily require iPadOS 16.1 as the operating system version.

With macOS Ventura and iPadOS 16.1, Apple is also integrating the “Stage Manager” feature into the two operating systems, promising a whole new multitasking experience where apps and windows are organized automatically and you can switch between tasks quickly and easily. On the iPad, the multitasking experience is complemented by the ability to use overlapping windows of different sizes in a single view for the first time.
