Amazon Freevee now also on Android TVs ›jojo Reviews

Amazon Freevee can now be used as a standalone app on various Smart TVs. As the video service announces, the Freevee app is now available on Android TV-based televisions.

Smart TVs from the manufacturers Sony, Panasonic, Hisense, Phillips, Sharp, Vestel, Nvidia, Xiaomi and TCL, as well as televisions in general that run on Google TV, benefit from this expansion in view of the availability of Freevee.

The new apps should already be available on the first devices. Otherwise, owners of compatible televisions can expect availability soon.

Freevee is Amazon’s free and ad-funded streaming service, which aims to score with a steadily growing range and some original productions. We reported on November’s additions to Freevee here. Two new Originals series with Judy Justice and Fair Trade will start here this month.
